AI for EU brings European AI companies together with a shared ambition: to make that process easier for European businesses.
Founded on complementary expertise
AI for EU was founded by Hoplo, Symanto and Mirror Security. Hoplo works on enterprise knowledge, Symanto on human understanding and Mirror Security on cryptographic protection.
These capabilities are the starting point for the alliance’s collaboration. Its purpose is to help businesses adopt European AI technologies and services as the participating companies bring their expertise together.
A shared approach to adoption
Businesses need to understand what products can do, how they fit into existing systems and which company is responsible for delivery and support. Clear commercial information and contracting arrangements are also part of that assessment.
The alliance is developing its approach to technical and commercial coordination, interoperability and support. It aims to help businesses explore complementary technologies with a clearer view of the companies and responsibilities involved.
Security, compliance requirements and human oversight are intended to inform this work from the design stage. Coordination and integration arrangements will need to be defined according to the technologies and requirements involved.
Open collaboration and freedom of choice
The alliance supports businesses retaining control over their data and technology decisions while collaborating with European and international partners.
